Shashank understands content end to end, not just the edit.

That means the whole chain: what gets made, how it’s packaged, where it’s distributed, and how it turns into revenue. He has worked across every part of it, from motion design and production to content strategy, analytics, and building the teams that ship daily.

His core strengths are 0-to-1 studio and team setup, full-funnel content architecture, advanced YouTube analytics, motion design, and Gen-AI production systems. Being equally comfortable in a creative review and a growth review is rarer than it sounds, and it’s usually where the advantage sits.

Ranked #1 for explainer motion graphics.

Early in his career, Shashank ranked #1 for “Explainer Motion Graphics” on Fiverr, the world’s largest freelance marketplace, competing against tens of thousands of sellers. The ranking brought a steady stream of demanding international clients on tight turnarounds, and a feedback loop that sharpened his craft and his client-handling at once. That profile became a Top-Rated Seller account and a client roster across 45+ countries.

How it started

It started with Vox.

It all traces back to Vox. Shashank grew up watching Vox on YouTube and reading vox.com, and the explainer desk there, Johnny Harris and Sam Ellis on shows like Vox Borders and Vox Atlas, is what set the direction. The way they turned a tangled geopolitical story into something you could actually follow was exactly the kind of work he wanted to make.

So he set out to learn it. At the time there were no tutorials for that map-and-motion Vox style on YouTube, and the look was still rare. He reverse-engineered it himself, frame by frame, combining effects until he could hit the classic explainer style on his own.

He built a channel to make that kind of journalism. It never really took off. The freelance work did. While he was still in college the gigs picked up, people responded to the work, and he started producing geopolitical explainers for brands and creators around the world. His Fiverr profile climbed to Top Rated, he interned with established creators, and his first full-time role followed, then Aevy TV. That’s where the career really began. The rest is on the home page.

What pulled him in still holds: how well a good explainer can make sense of the hardest topics. He reads constantly to get there, usually the most niche, out-of-print history books he can find, and he still makes his own content. Explainer journalism was his first love, and Xplained India is where it lives now.

He’s always up for a good project. If you’re building something in explainer video or content, say hello.

How the work gets made.

What’s rare is holding the craft, the growth and the systems in one head.
